Personally I think the sequel is better and did you recognize Fester? Christopher Lloyd from Back to the Future (and many other flims). hope you watch the sequel if you have time!
Omggg i haven’t seen this movie in forever. God, Morticia and Gomez are truly perfect together. Yaaaaasssss Queen one of my favorites! Looking forward to the sequel it’s better than the first in my opinion! Wednesday is a whole mood and I love it!! Yay! i hope after you've finished these movies you'll consider doing the new Wednesday show on Netflix, starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday (Vada from the Fallout and Tara from Scream 5) Top notch cast (RIP Raul Julia), acting, and everything. Don't think these movies will ever topped, though. Addams Family Values (the sequel from 1993) is a great watch, too, and it could also be in preparation for the incoming Wednesday show on Netflix if you need more "material" to familiarize yourself with the lore.
